Andersen - Deception Pass Park

I think the Andersen’s enjoy my photography. Their last photo session was their third. I sure do love return clients! Our first session was in 2014 when I photographed their three Jack Russell Terriers (JRT for short) Spot, Sophie and Maxx. Our second was in 2016 when I photographed Ellie, Trooper, and Maxx. The third session was in 2019 when I photographed Ellie and Trooper at Deception Pass Park.

Ellie and Trooper at Deception Pass Park - 2019

The Andersen’s sure do love JRT’s! Ellie and Trooper are their 7th and 8th! Of all of their JRT’s, Ellie is the wildest and Trooper is the calmest.

Ellie has three nicknames: Crazy Ellie, Little Miss Sassy Pants and Ellie Badger. I think they need to add Airborne Ellie to that list!

Trooper’s two nicknames are Mr. T and Mr. Monkey.  He is also referred to as “our delicate little flower”.

Trooper and Ellie are very active pups: they’ve both taken multiple obedience and rally classes and are both canine good citizens (CGC).  They both compete in agility and their longest hike to date is 19 miles.  They also both have their Novice Trick Dog title.  They just started nose work and as terriers, they are naturals.

One of their favorite treats are frozen blueberries. I think they deserve a LOT of blueberries for this shot.

There is no known toy on the planet, including one that was advertised as “pit bull tested”, that can outlast Ellie’s jaws of steal for more than 30 seconds.

2019

Julie has a great eye and has captured some amazing and treasured photos our family over the years. We’ve done three sessions with Julie and she has photographed five of our eight Jack Russells. (She would have photographed all of them had we know her back then!) From a quiet park to our backyard to a beautiful beach, every session has been so much fun for the dogs and for us! Julie is a dog’s person – all of our pups have been completely comfortable with her, which allowed them to be themselves from the get-go and Julie to capture their personalities in her photos.
